Eat healthy….at McDonalds?

Good afternoon!
For those of you that read my newsletter on a regular basis (hopefully all of you!), you already know how I preach good nutrition as one of the keys to your fitness results. All too often I see people who will have the workout side of things down pat, but their nutrition is off. 
In my last newsletter I talked about the importance of making good decisions when it comes to where you eat as well as what you eat. I’ve gotten some good feedback from that article and many people were wondering what choices there are when you do find yourself at a fast food place, such as McDonalds.
Believe it or not, McDonald’s has some very good food choices that are healthy! If your pressed for time, try their apple dippers or their salads which are prepared with Newman’s Own dressing. Sure the food is still fast, but it’s also healthy! Lot’s of sit-down restaurants, such as Cheescake Factory, have menu items that are much worse in terms of calories and fat than some fast food choices.
So if you are ever in a pinch and need to get something healthy, maybe after my bootcamp, then don’t look past McDonalds!
